Initial cross-stitch

I just finished stitching two initials that will be part of a French-style patchwork quilt in shades of red.
ecru canvas is a bit 'fuzzy yarn and the DMC 498 is a 2 ply. The initial
I got them from this beautiful book that gave me Parolin.

I show even the rear even with the stitch still quite messy.

I changed the first two photos to make the design less "copy", I realized that I could spread patterns without due permission.
